MAEO Executive Board

MAEO is a non-profit organization with a volunteer Board to organize and plan activities for our membership. Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings and to participate actively on Board committees. If you would like to be a candidate or serve on the Board in another capacity, please consider the following:

The MAEO Executive Board of Directors is made up of six elected officers who must have first served on the board as an elected representative at some time: (President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Membership Secretary, Treasurer and the Past President).

In addition, there are twelve elected representatives, and appointed members to serve as Newsletter Editor, Awards/Scholarships chairperson, Webmaster, and members at large. The Board also includes ex-post facto members from MASSP and MACAE.

Each year at the Spring Conference an election is held to choose the Board for the following year. A term is for one year from July 1st until June 30th. There are no term limits.
