MAEO S.T.A.R.S

STARS is a student leadership program sponsored by the Michigan Alternative Education Organization (MAEO) for students enrolled in MAEO affiliated schools or programs.

There are three STARS events that take place each year:

1) The Fall Leadership Conference
2) Legislative Day
3) The Spring Events Conference

Participation in STARS helps students to:

• Develop academic, employment, self-motivation, self-confidence, and social skills
• Experience career related activities
• Assist with making career choices
• Build an appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship
• Strengthen teamwork & competition.
